We seem to move forward by carrying the nostalgia of the past, sometimes we leave it on the canvas.

I have shaped my works in several different series, flower abstractions, interpretations from nature, and recently, my series of women's portraits...
For the portraits, I first make sketches with watercolor or ink, these works of mine are also included on my instagram page. Female portraits have always been my main interest, I am fascinated by the facial expressions and depth of gaze. My favorite subject is the female face. I attempt to create unique, non-existing persons. After choosing the patterned canvas cloths, I decide which canvas the portrait I have created will match with, that is, in which external environment the portrait can live, and I start working. I preserve the ones that will integrate with the meaning on the face and translate them into the language of the picture. My work is not about explanation and concept. It is a game to me about triggering the senses. The expressions in the portraits I paint are emotional, bold, shameless, sensual and condescending female faces. I start with no idea in general, but by looking at pictures that interest me and mixing them, a new image slowly evolves.

Born in Izmir, Turkey. Studied at Mimar Sinan University fine arts faculty. Completed the graduate degree in the fine arts institute in Turkey. Resides in Istanbul. Speaks English and Spanish. Member and board member of the official partner of UNESCO IAA/International Association of Plastic Arts since 1992.

Numerous solo and group exhibitions including SCOPE Miami Beach Art Fair in 2017.
Included in collections of Unicef, UN, AIAP, banks, foundations, and private collections.
