Mario Dycke

Born in Munich. Grandson of Heinrich Kaminski who was a friend of Emil Nolde and Franz Marc. Mario grew up in the house of Franz Marc from where he got his first artistic influence. At the age of 12 Mario made an aquarell which the Munich Gallerist Stangl wanted to buy, as he thought it was a work of Emil Nolde.

He studied philosophy and film at the university of Munich, psychology at the Reed college Portland Oregon and political science in MIT. Since 20 years Mario lives on a greek island and in Brussels and works as a full time painter.
