Award-winning photographer Steven Joyce was born in Bristol and studied photography at Filton College.
In 2003 he moved to London to work for Magnum Photos and later worked with photographers Martin Parr, Peter Marlow and Stephen Gill.
In 2008 he started shooting full time and since then, his images have been published worldwide, in newspapers and magazines including The Times, The Guardian, The Observer, The Telegraph, The Financial Times, The Evening Standard, Elle Deco, Monocle and ES Magazine. His work has been exhibited nationally and forms part of the permanent collection of the Garden Museum in London. Although best known as a food and drink photographer, Steven also shoots landscapes, portraits and interiors. He has worked on numerous books, with advertising and design agencies, brands and restaurants.
This collection of photographs has been created alongside his commercial work, often taken during quiet moments while travelling, capturing a second of stillness.
He lives and works in south east London, where he also runs a busy photography studio, Kemble House.
