From an early age I grew up forging found bits of wire and old soda cans into toys to amuse myself.. In later life I rediscovered my passion for fashioning entanglements of wire into quirky works of art gaining many avid collectors worldwide.
Many years of my life were spent representing other artists and exhibiting them round the world. Until I felt it was time for me, the dealer, to become the artist. I had come full circle.
The idea of fashioning a desirable object from base elements became my consuming passion. In a real sense, I now aspire to the alchemist's craft of spinning straw into sheaths of gold.
Truly life experiences have been what has made me today. Growing up in isolation, I learned to create things to amuse myself. From this background I can honestly say I learned to be self-sufficient. I never worked for anyone a day in my life!
I studied at LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) to be an actor but apart from a short-lived career as an actor, I quickly learned this was misplaced - my calling was in the visual arts.
