Hello, I make abstract ceramic sculptures. Often, the imagery in my work straddles the boundaries of beauty and ugliness, refined and crude, sublime and sinister. My forms are ambiguous and simplified in order to let color and texture take on meaning. My work is an externalization of memory, attempts at grasping at the past and forging a new way into the future.
