Oana-Maria Paul is a contemporary Romanian painter. She paints personal themes inspired by places and objects that have left their mark on her, having the ability to transmit to the others their unique energy, but rejecting the traditional logic. She manages to synthesize the quintessence with few elements, especially by means of chromatic.
Although the themes proposed by her are not easy to digest, she succeeds in keeping her paintings optimistic leaving the eye of the spectator with a certain joy of life. There is no black or white, there is no good or evil, there are just stories of people and places to be remembered in a special way.
Through her multiple exhibitions and her hundreds of paintings, she has succeeded to create strange worlds and universes. Sometimes, places and objects give the impression that they are taken out of a box from a distant past, which still makes its presence felt.
