Veronika Zutshi

I am a self-taught artist who never gave up on childhood passion, although the challenges of life at various stages forced me to take a two-decade long hiatus from picking up the brush, but once I did, there was no looking back. I like to work on realism and try to paint both emotionally as well as aesthetically driven paintings. I derive inspiration from my surroundings and keep experimenting with the whole process be it materials, textures or paints trying to create an amalgam of modern and classical techniques. I believe in versatility and work with a variety of mediums like acrylics, oil paints, watercolor, graphite, charcoal, mix-media and resin. I practice and preach recycling so nothing in my house goes to waste.

I believe that art gives us an ability to express our emotions, thoughts, experiences and helps see things from a different perspective. It gives a new meaning to your life; it makes you feel ALIVE.

I endeavor to touch the hearts and lives of people who take my art pieces home, because according to me an honest artist puts his/ her heart and soul into the artwork which aims to bring a positive aura and prosperity to the homes they’re destined for.
