The full Moon is fascinating. There’s something unique and ethereal about it. On the right night, the full moon can produce enough light to make it feel like a photographic negative of the sun.

In contrast to the infinite nature of the Sun, a full Moon is a rare event. There are a finite number of full moons in a human life. They can be counted. Don’t take them for granted. Try to grab a private moment outside to acknowledge each full moon no matter where you are, even if it’s just a 30 second gaze standing outside in snow.

The lunar calendar guides and inspires my photography work. 95+% of my photos are taken of or during full moons. I’ve been creating these images for over 15 years.

The abstract images I create are intentional. Photos of the full Moon are common, photos using the Moon as a medium to create other images are less so. I want the beauty of the image to be primary with the reveal that the Moon was the “brush” used to create it coming thru as the “WOW”.

Seth Harris has collaborated with some of the most accomplished artists & design teams in the world.

In 2014 Seth merged his passions for art & surfing curating “The Bowery Project” - a collection of artworks on surfboards by artists including Damien Hirst, Julian Schnabel, Tom Sachs, Robert Williams, Ron English, Dana Louise Kirkpatrick, Ben Eine, Len Prince, Magda Sayeg, ELLE, Kevin T. Kelly, and others.

The Bowery Project debuted at the Patagonia surf shop in NYC and served as the centerpiece of a fundraising auction for Surfers Healing, a foundation that provides surf camps to autistic children and their families.

Seth has designed, produced, and installed a global series of murals for Abercrombie & Fitch in London, Madrid, Singapore, Shanghai, Seoul, Hong Kong, Hamburg, Munich, Dusseldorf, Brussels, Amsterdam, and Copenhagen.

He has designed merchandising fixtures for the Hard
Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, and a series of original
artworks for Burger King based on the artwork of
iconic artists from DaVinci to Warhol.
