Liusija Gudelytė is a Belarusian artist through whose work the exploration of cultural intersections and boundlessness unfolds. Drawing from her Eastern European heritage, she immerses herself in the vibrant color palettes of Mexico, where in 2022 she experienced a return to her creative practice and began her intuitive explorations. Using oil and canvas as her materials, she allows herself to work for several days on certain sections, transforming the emerging images.
Her focus on the theme of shamanism during her master's studies led to a journey to Peru, where she encountered the healing practices of the Amazon and integrated these experiences into her artistic forms and imagery.
Each canvas serves as a means of exploring the liminal space between the free expression of chaos and the recreation of mythical images and characters, each of which carries its own story and mystery.
Through her art, she strives to capture the imprint of the soul in moments of deep connection with the Divine, encouraging viewers to reflect on their own inner journeys.
