Eva Lászlóné Wágner

I taught in high schools and colleges for 40 years. The turning point came in 2020, when I began attending optional art schools to learn different painting techniques. I painted with both acrylics and oils, but stuck with oils because I liked the colors and they allowed me to express more emotion, which is typical of my paintings. I have always loved bold colors. As I delved deeper into the art world, I made acquaintances, established contacts, and received invitations to exhibit my paintings in Austria (2023) and the Czech Republic (2024). It was nice to feel the result of a successful foreign competition. I paint subjects that add a dimension of personal experience to my work. Many people say they don't understand modern paintings—the interpretation of modern paintings is up to the viewer; the painting speaks to the viewer's emotions.
