Diana Dimitrova

My name is Diana Dimitrova, a photographer from Sofia, Bulgaria. For me photography is love at first click. By education I have a Master's degree in Media Information and Advertising, but the moment I took my first pictures (my son was my first model), I realized that this is what I want to do and photography has been my profession ever since.

Photography is a passion, a love, a way to express myself, my feelings, my views; to show the beauty I see; to make people smile; to make the day happier; to show the love that surrounds us ... Because the world is a wonderful place if you look at it with love; if you respect the "other"; if you live in harmony with nature; if GOODNESS is the guiding light.

I love photographing the beauty – in nature, in everyday life, among people, in the traditions of a country. I'm especially drawn to folklore festivals (I've covered many in different parts of Bulgaria and Europe), local folk festivals (Bulgaria has unique traditions and folk rituals) and historical reenactments of events emblematic of a place.
