Arturo Bojórquez Sauceda
I was born on January 11, 1965 in Sinaloa, Mexico.
I have been living in Puebla, Mexico for 23 years. My training as an artist is mostly self-taught. My travels abroad have completed my "vision of the world". I took a "Figura al Fresco" course in New York in 2001. I have taken other courses abroad.
I have exhibited in New York, Mexico City, Puebla, Cordoba, among others.
My inclinations for the abstract emerged in New York where the visual stimulation of the environment transformed my way of painting. Some time later, on a visit to Oaxaca, I was impressed by the artisan work, hence the source of inspiration for my "Alebrujos". All my work navigates between the abstract and the figurative. I hope you will find eyes and emotions willing to contemplate these works by yours truly.
