Linda Bruhne

I am a German artist whose paintings have been exhibited in Germany, as well as in Switzerland, Austria, Greece and Italy. My work is concerned with the process of painting, which I allow to guide me, it is a continuous weighing up of colours and shapes. My paintings are created by superimposing several layers of colour, which are applied with brushes, palette knives, glazes and other means - until a balance is achieved.
My series of works "Landscapes Without Location" take place in an undefined space, perhaps in the space of the unconscious, dreamlike and visionary. They are imaginary landscapes. For me, painting is a space where I am free to experiment, create and invent new realities.
