Wayne Sorensen

I have been sketching, painting and photographing all my life, but in recent years I have dedicated my creativity exclusively to landscape and wildlife photography.

Whenever I am shooting or editing, I employ all of my learnings as a classically trained fine artist. My photography work is often described as painterly or like fine art, which is a constant source of inspiration for me to keep pushing the boundaries of the medium.

For me photography is so much more than taking a photograph. A good photo can capture emotion. It can draw the viewer into that world. It can challenge perceptions. For that and more, it’s a medium that I love more than any other.

I live and work on the Gold Coast in Australia, but travel the world in search of unique artwork compositions of Mother Nature.
