Jeff Challenor

My name is Jeff, and I am 63 years old. Born 2nd October,1960 in Middlesbrough, UK. Moved to London, UK in 1980. Moved to Nakhon Sawan, Thailand in 2006.

I have always been able to draw from an early age and while in London I went to a local art college and did an access course to get into university and then went to university and completed a B.A. Hons degree in Public Art and Design where I specialized in Mosaics and Mural painting.

After finishing university, I completed several mosaic commissions including mosaic wall panels, door panels and floors. These included mosaic wall panels for the English FA at Lancaster Gate, Middlesbrough F.C. at Riverside Stadium, Liverpool F.C. at the Anfield Museum, mosaic door panels for the Frankenstein bar & restaurant in Glasgow, floor mosaic for Gilzean's Sports bar and restaurant in Middlesbrough and several other mosaic wall panels and bathroom floors for private clients.

When I moved to Thailand, even though it has never left me what I was taught, I stopped doing mosaics. But recently my Dad died and my Mum who is getting old decided to clean up her home and found 5 of my mosaics in her loft, hench I joined Saatchi Art to try and sell them and to meet like-minded artists.
