Jessica Purser

Jess Purser is a contemporary British painter, currently based in Cornwall.
She has worked professionally as an artist since 2007 and has sold her work globally since then.

Her influences are rooted in ancient wisdom and truths that are timeless and can be observed in the natural world around us. Specifically, she often draws inspiration from deep, dark woodlands, as well as magical and mysterious natural spaces. These elements evoke a sense of wonder, awe, and connection to something greater than ourselves, which in turn informs our beliefs and values. It's fascinating to consider how the environment we inhabit can shape our perspectives and influence our creative output.
Jess wishes to bring hope and a sense of awe and beauty back to those who feel that, in recent times, we have lost our connection to nature.

Jess has never had any formal art training, much preferring to research and practice using her own ebbs and flows of energy and inspiration.
