EDUCATION
Valery Babanov was born in 1942. He works in the spheres of book design, illustration and print-making. He has illustrated both classical and contemporary prose and poetry by Russian and foreign authors. For the last fifteen years Valery has worked and enjoyed a unique technique "monotype". Prize-winner in numerous exhibitions and competitions, he has exhibited his works in Belgium, Britain, Bulgaria, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Latvia, The Netherlands, Poland, Spain and the USA.
Valery Babanov graduated from Moscow Poligraphic Institute, Faculty of Artistic and Technical Printmakig.
