Indrani Baruah

My arts practice is located in a space created through multiple cross- overs between the disciplines of art, architecture, culture, ecology and technology. Working in the interstitial spaces of these disciplines, my continuing interest lies in creating circumstances that lead to unanticipated interdisciplinary convergence and subsequent convergent evolution.Experimenting with a range of media and techniques, I engage with concepts rooted in the Indian context that are symptomatic of a universal cross-cultural discourse. My work has been shown recently at the Berkeley Art Center in Berkeley, EmeryArts Exhibitions in Emeryville and Gensler, San Francisco. I live and work in Berkeley, Delhi and Guwahati.
