Alina Khoznan

I am Alina Khozhantayeva, a self-taught artist from Kazakhstan born in 2006. My expressionist works explore the deep emotional connections between humans and animals, while celebrating my nomadic heritage and passion for cultural discovery. Through vibrant portraits and bold compositions, I bridge Central Asian traditions with contemporary themes, advocating for environmental awareness and cross-cultural understanding. Art is my way of traveling the world without moving, capturing the essence of different cultures and histories that inspire me.

I've been passionately teaching myself art since 2020, mastering various techniques including oil, acrylic, watercolor and digital media. My artistic journey focuses on expressive portraiture that reveals emotional depth in both human and animal subjects. In 2023, I shared this knowledge as an art instructor at Palitra Drawing Studio, helping students of all ages discover their creative voices.

I'm honored to have received awards including 1st Degree Diplomas at international contests and nominations like "Best Graphic Art". Beyond exhibitions, I collaborate on projects like the "Comic Making" anthology, blending storytelling with visual art. Fluent in multiple languages, I actively engage with global art communities while staying true to my Kazakh roots. Each recognition fuels my mission to create art that speaks across cultures and generations.
