Kevin studied film, acting, and visual storytelling at the Sundance Institute, where acclaimed filmmaker Eric Eason mentored him. His artistic foundation is also rooted in his extensive training in theater, performance (SITI Company, Ivana Chubbuck Studio), and creative expression, which has informed his ability to craft deeply immersive, cinematic compositions.

Creativity runs in Kevin’s blood. He comes from a lineage of artistic excellence, deeply inspired by his uncle, Ike Hobbs, a renowned painter and craftsman. Growing up, Kevin was surrounded by creative expression, watching his uncle breathe life into canvases and stone, shaping narratives through form and color. This early exposure to fine art shaped his understanding of visual storytelling, composition, and the power of artistic legacy.
