EDUCATION
Born in 1971 April is a British artist who is predominently self taught despite spending one year at a Scottish art school (1989-1990). Drawing all her life, learning to paint came much later but at the right time in 2006, and since then April has exhibited in group shows and galleries in Ireland and United Kingdom. She has had two solo shows of her own and works on commissions from her studio in County Clare, Ireland.
April's work hangs in corporate collections in Ireland (Faber-Castell offices in Cork, and Connelly's Redmills in Kilkenny) and private collections in the UK, Cyprus, Poland, America, Canada and New Zealand. Her work has also been published in the UK art magazine "Artists & Illustrators" in 2010/2011.
Though most of April's work reflects her love of the seashore April's work from 2011 is a collection of confectionary )all pieces still available) Commissions are also considered all year.
Self Taught artist in drawing & painting.
Attended Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee
