Jonathan Haldeman

I’m a surfer, trader, and self-taught artist carving my way through life—both on the waves and with a paintbrush. Born with a heart condition known as Tetralogy of Fallot, I’ve always viewed life through a different lens—one that appreciates each moment of stillness and every surge of momentum. My art is a reflection of the ocean’s duality: calm yet chaotic, beautiful yet unpredictable. Through each painting, I explore the rhythm of life, the energy of movement, and the quiet strength that exists between breaths. I paint like I surf—intuitively, soulfully, and always in the present moment. All paintings are signed and dated by me just not in photos! 💜

While I’m self-taught as an artist, my greatest education has come from the ocean. Years of surfing have taught me balance, patience, and flow—principles that shape my creative process as much as my life journey. I continuously study color theory, texture, and composition through hands-on exploration, mentorship, and deep observation of nature.
