Calin Seredenco

My name is Calin Seredenco, I am 32 years old, and I live in Chisinau, Moldova. I have been drawing and painting since childhood, and although I have not attended any art school, everything I know, I have learned on my own. My passion for art and my desire to improve have guided me in expressing what I think and feel through my work.
I believe that I am deeply influenced by the life I have lived so far. I have not had a complete family, and because of this, I have known violence and loneliness intimately. In the solitude of my life, I found art as a way to unleash my emotions. Writing this, I’m still uncertain about whether I should share this or not, but I feel it’s important to be honest with those who will view my art. These feelings are what I wish to convey through my paintings: loneliness, suffering, tragedy, but also peace. I believe that all of these emotions can create an image powerful enough to resonate deeply with others.
I paint using oil paints because the technique I use involves layering multiple coats on top of each other to create a more intense image and more complex colors. I have not found any other medium that better suits my goals than oil paints, which allow me to achieve the desired effect.

I have not received official art education, but I am developing my artistic skills through practice and studying art.

Some of my works has been published in the "Dunarea De Jos" magazine , which has been a valuable experience in sharing my art with a wider audience.
