Tatiana Frisch

I am a self-taught artist based in Neuss, Germany, with an intrinsic drive to create and express myself through painting. My artistic journey began in 2018, when I started exploring various painting techniques and experimenting with different mediums. Over time, my work has become an intimate practice—painting and other forms of art serve as my personal form of meditation, helping me connect deeply with my inner world.

Through my art, I process my emotions, thoughts, and life experiences. Each piece is an exploration of self, a way to transform and understand the complexities of my feelings and experiences. I primarily work with oil and mixed media, embracing the rich textures and depth these materials offer. Every brushstroke is an invitation to unravel the stories within, creating a visual language that speaks to the essence of being.

As a self-taught artist, I have developed my painting skills through intensive self-study, online courses, and video tutorials. Through continuous practice and experimentation with different techniques and materials, I have cultivated my own artistic style. I continuously expand my knowledge by exchanging ideas with other artists and exploring new styles.

Some of my abstract acrylic paintings are currently exhibited at the Asanyoga studio in Neuss, where I also work as a yoga teacher. The connection between art and yoga is reflected in my work – inviting yoga students and visitors to be inspired by colors, shapes, and emotions. The exhibition creates a meditative atmosphere that calms the mind and stimulates creativity.
