Semra Ocalmis

Born and raised in Berlin and based in Accra, Ghana, Semra Ocalmis is a self taught ghanaian-turkish photographer whose work speaks to her heritage, the intersections of culture and the multicultural community she grew up in. Her imagery rooted in honesty and intimacy brings an abundant outlook on frequently subtle scenery and explores the many sides of her subjects with the intention to capture what feels like their truest form is. Forever reflecting the world she sees internally - raw, real and authentic.
