Pinto Pinnock

I am a retired dentist, born in 1956 in a very remote village called Manoharpur, India. My parents of Portuguese catholic, German jewish, Indian and French heritage moved with five of my seven siblings to the UK in 1958 after partition.
I live in Bristol, England. In spite of having no formal training I decided to paint in 1998 at the age of 42, as a diversion and release from the stresses of work. My main inspiration is science.

Primary and secondary education at catholic state schools in Middlesbrough.
I graduated in dentistry from Bristol University in 1980 and worked at The Westminster, Charing Cross and St. Stephen’s hospitals before entering NHS general practice.
