Evelyn Gardiner

I received my BA from Sarah Lawrence College in 2019, where I concentrated in printmaking and oil painting. My practice is rooted in using art as a way to navigate life experiences that are often difficult to voice. My work weaves together personal experiences, the cycles of nature, and the complexities of human spirituality. I explore the persistence of the natural world, the beauty, pain, and resilience it holds, and the dualism that binds the earthly to the divine. I aim to capture the tension between fragility and eternity, offering a reflection on the shared cycles that shape all living things.
