ARTIST STATEMENT
The exhibit Transformation thru Perspective features an everchanging genre of artwork - landscapes, Africana, figurative abstract, which is a testament that the artwork is inspired by imagination, expression and feeling and is not a product of recreated reality.
All of the works are products of the imagination, minimal mixing of pigments and wet on wet technique give the landscapes a sense of luminocity and complexity that is inherent in both the imagination and the world around us. The perspectives are at times extreme in order to create a surreal effect.
