Ian Rank-Broadley is one of the foremost sculptors working today. His effigy of the late Queen Elizabeth II appears on all UK and Commonwealth coinage from 1998. He has numerous other public works, including at the Armed Forces Memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum and the Colet Memorial at St Paul's Cathedral. Most recently, he created from life portraits of King Charles and the Queen Consort. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Sculptors, Brother of the Art Workers Guild and Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths'. He was granted the Freedom of the City of London in 1996.
