As a child, some of my earliest memories somehow related to creating something. From sewing to painting, I have been making things most of my life. I studied law, and throughout my career, art was my escape from the concrete world, where I could freely express a sense of emotion on paper, and in some radical way connect with the viewer of my art.

I established myself with an art studio in Centurion, South Africa. Since then a number of my pieces found homes with South African and European families.

My work reflects a search for reconciliation of one’s spirituality, by the use of Chiaroscuro, where three-dimensional volume is suggested by the value gradation of colour and the analytical division of light and shadow.

The source of my inspiration is the French and Italian landscapes with a combination of inner feelings and imagination. My paintings are the incorporation of all of that, with the various ups and downs in my personal life.
I work with a variety of mediums such as oils, acrylics, charcoal and impasto techniques to achieve three-dimensional volume.
