Nooshin Sheekhbahi

Nooshin Sheekhbahi was born in 1972 in the historical city of Isfahan. She was raised in Iran and surrounded by Iranian Art and mysticism throughout her childhood. She later studied Art and Design at Isfahan Art College before moving to the Netherlands as a teenager. She continued her studies at the Academy of Utrecht, and then at Willem de Koning Academy of Art, where she graduated as valedictorian in 2002. Since then, she has worked as an independent and prolific artist in several disciplines. Nooshin currently lives and works from her studio in London.

Nooshin is displaying and selling her art at a venue in West London in January 2023 to raise awareness for the ongoing "Woman, Life, Freedom" movement in Iran. This exhibition will include 8 illustrations, all of which have been created in the past 3 months, select paintings from Nooshin's last collection, and one stand-alone painting which Nooshin is specifically creating for this exhibition. This will be a 2-day event, the details are as follows:

Friday 20 January - 6:30pm-10pm (opening night, invitation only)
Saturday 21 January - 12:30pm-5:30pm (open to the public)
