Severine Aerin Maigre

Contemporary painter, registered at the Maison des Artistes since 2006, known and appreciated for her abstract works, Séverine Maigre, alias AERIN m. (Hellenia from 2003 to 2015) is dedicated to his passion since 1999.
Born in Vichy (France) in 1974, she discovers from childhood the marvelous world of colors that will never cease to fascinate her.
After a bachelor's degree in Arts and Letters, she moved naturally towards artistic studies, first at the University of Fine Arts in Saint-Étienne, then at the University of Montpellier III.
Sensitive to fantastic universes such as Zao Wou-Ki, Chagall or Tolkien, she composes worlds full of emotion and light.
At first, his figurative research becomes clearer as he evolves pictorially, and nowadays he is presented in abstract paintings, whose mastery of composition and the harmony of colors can only marvel.
Since 2016, always in communion with his nature and to give a new tone to the expression of his art, AERIN m. decides to make vegetable paper and add it to his paintings with this refinement of execution that characterizes her.
Several prizes have been awarded to her and many of her works have been acquired by private collections during her many exhibitions.
