Alicia Larrain

I am a visual artist and designer. I was born on April 17, 1944 in Santiago, Chile.

In my Art projects I work concepts about mankind, his metaphisical concern in life, his risk and trajectory in gregarious life. I illustrate this topic writing a 5 line poem (number representing human hand and musical pentagram), using words with letter R, whose strong sound resembles the dual interchange of marks between man and the world he inhabits. After working out the theme and corresponding poem, I develop the projects images making use of techniques such as painting, digitalization, sculpture, mixed media projections, o whatever I consider appropriate to enhance it.
