Almudena Arias

Been born in May of 1,963 in a family of artists, descendant of the painter Enrique Simonet and of the escultor Antonio Parera, both scholars in Rome in century XIX.
During the following years it is dedicated exclusively to the creative ceramics participating in different exhibitions and samples in Spain being but outstanding
Due to a back injury its immersion in the world of the painting begins, investigating in the plane and the color, it will adentrándose in a world of new sensations and forms of expression. In this new challenge it uses like inspiration source some of the fundamental pillars of its life:
- The nature, in where it lives and it develops his creativity
- Its constant trips to INDIA from its childhood, that nourish to their work of exotic colors
- Its familiar and emotional entailment to AFRICA that it has infected its work with the purity, the strong textures of the continent and the personages who move by all these spaces: watched of women, scenes of the daily life, animals and the harmony between people and nature

In 1983 its formation with the attendance to the courses of the escultora Aurora Cañero and the ceramist begins its studies in the School of Ceramics of Madrid completing Juan Manuel Llacher. It finishes its studies in year 1.988.

Since painter has participated in some individual and collective exhibitions as much in Spain as in some countries of Europe (Paris, Utrech, There is It and at the moment in Lyon):
