Hey there, I'm Aman Abdi, a poet, writer, and artist who found my true calling in the vibrant world of painting.
Surrealism paintings
My artistic journey is deeply intertwined with my personal experiences. As an individual with autism, ADHD, and pareidolia, I've embarked on a unique voyage of self-expression. Within the chaos of my mind, I've discovered a way to transform it into something beautiful. Every brushstroke is a channel for my emotions, a gateway to create hidden faces, captivating scenery, and tales that linger within the depths of my art.
One of my proudest moments was having my painting titled 'Self-portrait of a Schizophrenic' selected for the prestigious 2022 ING Discerning Eye exhibition at the Mall galleries. This recognition has fueled my determination to push boundaries and continue sharing my art with the world.
