I am an Italian artist born in Modena in 1959, and for over 40 years, I have been devoted to a creative journey rooted in exploration, transformation, and a deep connection between material and meaning. My work embraces sculpture, installation, and artistic stained glass, often incorporating recycled elements like glass, metal, textiles, and PET plastic. Through my practice, I seek to capture light, emotion, and space, crafting works that speak both intimately and publicly. My creative ethos is grounded in freedom, poetic expression, and a commitment to environmental consciousness.
I began my artistic education at the prestigious Istituto d’Arte Venturi in Modena, where I earned my diploma in Ceramic Arts in 1978. This foundation gave me the tools and discipline of classical craftsmanship, which later evolved into a dynamic practice that blends artisan tradition with contemporary sculptural exploration. In 1985, I launched my own studio focused on artistic stained glass, marking the beginning of my professional path and material experimentation.
My first solo exhibition was held in Sassuolo in 1991. Since then, my work has been featured in a wide range of artistic contexts—from sculpture parks and land art installations to festivals and community art events. Highlights include Nuvola di Luce (Mantua 2014) and Danza Aerea per il Bosco (BAS 2014), as well as Tra Visibile e Invisibile, a vibrant textile installation created for international artist residency SMACH, 2016. In 2021, I presented Onda di Gioia at Rome’s Riscarti Festival, continuing my ongoing dialogue between nature, reuse, and artistic vision. Whether in galleries or open-air settings, my exhibitions strive to create immersive, transformative encounters with the public.
