Andrea Isch

Andrea Isch lives in Zurich, Switzerland and works as a freelance artist and professional musician.

The visual artist has a particular fascination for portrait painting and is constantly inspired to bring not only the characteristic facial features, but also the unique and emotional expression of a person onto the canvas.

Another source of inspiration is her love of nature; she is particularly fond of old gnarled trees, mysterious owls and colourful chameleons. Her paintings - preferably done in oil and acrylic - live from the play of light and shadow, intense colour contrasts, a sensitive handling of colour nuances and not infrequently contain a certain mysticism.

She developed a special style of drawing with graphic markers.
