Andrew Hudgett is a music composer. His work includes composing music for movies, video games, TV shows, documentaries, jingles, amusement park attractions, special events, and concert halls, as well as composing for amusement parks and exhibitions. Having been raised by musical parents, he has always been involved in professional music. In 1967, George Martin discovered him and signed him to a 3-year recording contract. For 13 years, Andrew was a member of the renaissance music group The Huggett Family.
From symphony orchestras to commercial clients, Andrew pursued a career as a freelance musician and composer. An audiovisual and TV production company in Canada, GAPC, hired Andrew as its composer and audio creative director in 1993. After holding this position until 2020, he left to pursue personal creative interests.
A total of over 3000 credits have been accumulated by Andrew over the course of his career. In addition to Western and North American television networks, his music is heard in more than 180 countries worldwide.
Andrew Huggett studied at the Guildhall School of Music, Trinity College of Music, and the Royal College of Music in London, England.
Over the years, a particular source of pride and satisfaction for Andrew Huggett has been his ongoing musical contributions to the good works of social innovator Firdaus Kharas. Kharas produces series, documentaries, videos, and television spots designed to encourage positive societal and individual behavior worldwide.
