Anew Mcknight

I am a Fine Art graduate of NCAD in Ireland. I have exhibited throughout Ireland and I am in the collection of the OPW State Art Collection. Through the medium of photography and fine art, I concentrate on the overlooked aspects of our surroundings. The ordinary everyday views that people pass by on a daily basis without a second look. I find interest in the uninteresting. A field becomes a place of reflection, a moment of stillness to be enjoyed purely for its simplicity. There is quietness to my work, where the paintings can be overlooked, reflecting their subject matter, but on closer inspection reveal a hidden beauty not immediately apparent.
