Richard Gibson is a polystylistic young author with a mature style in fine art, fashion photographer. Surrealist visionary with an education in contemporary art. Gibson excels at mixed media, blending photography and graphic design to create minimalist, color and b&w compositions, reminiscent of 20th-century art styles. Expands the boundaries of aesthetics, explores human individuality through color and form, experimenting with paradoxes avant-garde concepts and tools. Inspired by Fauvism, minimalism, conceptualism, emit vivid emotions, expressiveness, graphicity, metaphorical, harmony, and perfectly balanced composition with inner power and new aesthetics. Some artists that have influenced on me: David LaChapelle, James Turrell, Dan Flavin, Barnett Newman, Mark Rothko, Tadao Ando, Fabienne Verdier, Paul Jenkins, Vishal Marapon, Lucio Fontana, Cara Barer, Ellsworth Kelly, Xuebing Du, Sebastiaan Knot, Richard Caldicott, Erin O'Keefe, Antoine Khol, Franco Fontana, Olafur Eliasson, Banoit Paille, Nick Knight, Torkil Gudnason, Signe Pierce, Elizaveta Porodina, Viviane Sassen, Trent Parke, Claus Goedicke, Andoni Beristain, Alexander Calder, Thirza Schaap, Jeff Koons, Alicja Wroblewska, Lorenzo Vitturi, Jennifer Latour, David Batchelor, Joel Meyerowitz, Steve McCurry, Alex Webb, Jeff Wall, Alec Soth, William Eggleston, Saul Leiter, Stephen Shore, Rala Choi, Todd Hido, Nguan, Edgar Degas, Niklas Porter, David Hockney, Erik Madigan Heck. In some works there are echoes of Tadao Ando architecture, monumentality and brutalism of forms. In others metaphorical comparison with human life, some other - just directly appeal to the senses and our subconscious like the paintings of Marco Rothko.
