Pencil on art paper, 180gsm. Fetter Lane, or Fetter Street, still exists today, and if you look carefully you can see the outline of the street is still the same, although modernized over time. Dickens wrote extensively about these streets, and i love to render my versions on the Victorian style.

I grew up on a farm in The Netherlands, and this instilled a love of nature in me. I love drawing farm houses, barns, and landscapes. The other love is animals. I illustrate for my own poetry, which is generally in a cartoonish fashion. These pictures are also used for flashcards in EFL teaching. I resided in Hong Kong for 16 years with my wife and two children. I do not really have adequate time for long painting sessions, as I teach part-time, coach teachers, write scripts and have a household to run, but I do what I can. My personal preferences are pencil and gouache at the moment.
