Alitasha Ahamad is a self-taught artist based in Udaipur, Rajasthan. Her artistic journey began in childhood when evenings were filled with the magic of recreating memories on paper. Udaipur's rich cultural tapestry and scenic beauty have played a pivotal role in shaping her artistic expression, reflected in the bold colour choices and emotive canvases. Lacking formal training has been a liberating experience, allowing her to approach each day with a hunger for knowledge and fearlessness in her art. Specializing in abstract expressionism, she explores a spectrum of subjects, from abstract florals to horses and human forms, using mediums like acrylic, watercolour, oil paint, digital illustration and gouache. She strongly believes in "Nobody's Perfect, Perfect is Boring" and spreads Body Positive messages through her art among woman and young girls. Beyond the canvas, She extended her creativity to sustainable practices, crafting hand-painted and embroidered jewelry from discarded materials. The global reach of her artworks, finding homes in countries like Australia, India, the UK,the USA, Canada and South Korea, fills her with gratitude, and she eagerly anticipate the continued evolution of this artistic journey. In 2025, she gained the Golden Membership of Dubai's esteemed Funun Arts Group, a dynamic community founded in 2016 by Shiba Khan and Farah Khan. This recognition underscores her exceptional contributions to the arts and aligns her with Funun Arts' mission to empower and inspire artists globally. As a Golden Member, she joins a network of over 15,000 multinational artists, designers, and creative minds, all committed to fostering cultural exchange and artistic innovation. This affiliation not only celebrates her dedication to the arts but also provides a platform for collaboration, growth, and meaningful engagement within a vibrant creative community. You can also follow her on Instagram at alitasha.ahamad where the actual magic happens, also you can stay updated on the upcoming artworks.
