Jackson Carvalho, born in 1968 in Northeast Brazil, is a contemporary artist renowned for his mastery in photography and image manipulation. He studied at prestigious institutions such as the International Center of Photography (ICP) in New York, the International Institute of Photography in São Paulo, and the Future London Academy. Carvalho's work uniquely blends traditional image fusions with an emotive, dream-like quality, often incorporating elements of beauty, absurdity, and chaos, characterized by a dark, metaphorical intelligence. His exceptional skill in light control and refined post-production techniques has earned him international acclaim. Carvalho has exhibited in the USA, Europe, and Brazil, with notable exhibitions including "Metamorphosis" at Saphira & Ventura Gallery in São Paulo (2017) and "The Art of Nude Photography" at Hartlauer Foto Galerie in Linz, Austria (2016). He has received numerous prestigious awards, including the Gold Medal at the Trierenberg Super Circuit (2014, 2016, 2017, 2018), the Graphis Annual Photography Gold Medal (2016), and 10 Gold Medals at PX3 - Prix de la Photographie Paris (2015). In 2016, he was named Photographer of the Year - Gold by One Eyeland in the Fine Art Architecture category. Carvalho's works are available in strictly limited sizes and editions, printed on Giclée Hahnemühle Photo Rag Pearl paper, each accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist. His art has been featured in prominent international publications, including Trieremberg Super Circuit Luxury Edition (2014-2018), Graphis Annual Photography (2016), and Visions 1X9.
