Olena is a mixed-media artist who specializes in contemporary art. Getting inspired by the inner world of the people, in her work she portrays her impression of the way people interact with nature and with ones of their kind. Suffering from asthma throughout her childhood, she was trapped inside the walls of her house. Craving salvation from the reality of frustration, she imagined multilayered worlds of higher dimensions in which she felt lonely. Hence, Olena tried to portray what she felt on canvas to share it with others. That prompted her to learn how to express emotions nicer and thinner. On this journey of learning, she experimented with different kinds of media, which made her works sensitive and confident the same time. For 12 years, she worked on hundreds of projects in the movie and fashion industry, where she created characters, including grooming and designing costumes, being a trainer and managing the teams. After that, focusing on art and motherhood, she lived in 5 countries in 50+ cities. All of them had a different vibe, which left it’s mark on Olena’s art until now. From picturesque portraits to free and conceptual abstracts. From oil and watercolor pencil to mixed media. Work with watercolor, acrylic, ink, alcohol ink, markers and all that needed during the creation of story. Also have the way of digital drawing in graphic and illustrative style. Nowadays, Olena experiments with textile art and mentors people to find own way and instruments of expression.
