Born in 1980, Poland. In the period 2005-2010 he studied at the Faculty of Painting and Sculpture of the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław. In 2010 he defended his thesis titled Search for structure, for which he received a distinction. Painting and sculpture are his basic means of artistic expression. Since the completion of his studies in 2010, he has created a number of works as part of original artistic projects: eight individual exhibitions and a dozen or so group exhibitions. In his strictly figurative works the artist uses simple forms, symbols, archetypes and motifs related to culture, finding for them new appropriate contexts. He lives and works in Wrocław. Humanity seems to strive for development and for a vague perfection, of which art, according to popular opinion, would be an image and sublimation. In this context and as an act of opposition to the above status quo, I take a step back and return to the very beginning, to what in art highlights our essence and tells the truth about our situation. Art, in its basic, primary dimension, contains everything that is most important for man: a metaphysical bond with the world, the power to build social bonds, subjectivism and the resulting individual freedom, as well as deep religiosity without the civilizational envelope of systemic cult, all these things , which, despite the fact that they are often rejected by the modern, objectified, scientific worldview, may turn out to be the most important for the further existence of man.
