In the south of Ukraine, along the edge of the Azov Sea, there is a sand spit called Arabatskaya Strela. In this canvas, I tried to depict its sandy beach. The action takes place in early spring, in cloudy weather. The wind drives leaden clouds across the sky, the air is filled with the aromas of th...

Hello. My name is Olga. I am a beginning painter. I was born in the south of Ukraine, where the warm sea sparkles in the sun, and everything is white from the fruit trees blossom in the spring. Since my childhood I have been drawing a lot and have been fond of applied art. But, unfortunately, I didn’t come to painting right away. My parents wanted me to get a serious profession. So I got a law degree. But the dreams about creativity never left me. I learned to sew. I began to create fashionable images for myself, my sisters and friends. Since 2020 I have been living and working in Dnipro. And in this city I realized that finally the time has come to fulfill my dream. For several years I have been exploring painting, learning to paint from Kyiv artists. And finally I decided to sell a few of my paintings. I also want to say a few words about myself, if you do not mind. I practice yoga. I explore Eastern practices, energy exchange in the chakras. I attend yoga seminars. I love animals and nature very much. I love to travel, bake pies and cook various dishes. My second passion after painting is reading. I love British and American literature, though not very modern writers, but very talented ones: Jane Austen, O. Henry, F. Fitzgerald. My paintings are like little stories about every single day. Just like any other story in the book. When I painted my pictures, I thought only of good things and I wanted my work to bring joy to surrounding people. I hope I did not tire you. I really hope that you will like my paintings.
