Influenced by the quiet friction between natural growth and architectural severity, Susannah draws inspiration from brutalist forms and organic forces, where abstraction is shaped by the interplay of structure and unruliness. With a background in fiber arts, a field of precision and discipline, Susannah spent years refining a practice that left little room for spontaneity. Having exhibited and sold fiber-based works worldwide, the need for creative release led to a shift where order and entropy push against one another in equal measure. She and her partner, a sound designer, currently create together under Artefakt Studios.
