Graciela was born in Buenos Aires in 1960. After studying chemistry at the National School of Technical Education No. 1 Ing. Otto Krause, she worked as a laboratory chemist and as a chemistry teacher at a high school in the city. In the mid-1990s, she moved to the interior of the country, to the city of San Luis, where, with an interest in art, she took an Art History course at the National University of San Luis and participated in local art and painting workshops. In 2003, she returned to Buenos Aires and began studying Drawing and Painting at the Municipal Superior Institute of Plastic Arts in the city of Avellaneda, completing the 5-year degree. She also participated for several years in the atelier of painter Diana Ayala, before immersing herself in essentialism at the atelier of painter Susana Lamas, a prominent figure within that movement. Her work can mostly be defined within the abstract pictorial movement.
