Alexander was born in Moscow in 1960 and was very creative from his youth. One of his early hobbies was building models from plasticine, putting them in a freezer and then playing self-invented war games with his brother and sisters. Later he began making more advanced models made of plastic, until he started building real copies of vehicles and airplanes in the 1:160 scale for his railroad collection. This is just one example of various hobbies, some of which he is still enjoying today. He started playing piano only learning few chords from his mother in the early age, and till today without knowing any notes he plays various music instruments and recorded two albums of music written by himself. He studied in Stroganov School of Art in Moscow in the School of Jewellery. He chose that particular school for the vast range of arts taught there, giving him the opportunity to learn and practice in many subjects. He did not become a jeweller, having made a design of only one medal as his graduation work. Instead, he used his talent sculpturing, making very detailed and stylish models of characters for cartoons. After the university he began working in Studio of Animated Films as a Background Artist and then as a Director of a number of cartoons. Alexander also performed as a fine artist working in watercolours, pastel and oil. In 1996 Alexander started working in Computer Graphics; his first platform was Commodore Amiga, probably one of the first graphic computers. He excelled in computer graphics when he got access to Silicon Graphics, the most advanced computer for 2D and 3D graphics. Now he supervises Video and Sound Editing, 2D and 3D design and animation and printing art for one of the biggest Russian corporations. Photography became part of Alexander’s life in 1985, which began as a hobby and also as a way to escape sports classes in university, which he did not particularly enjoy. At university he became the official photographer for all sports events. His favourite genres are Landscape, Still Nature, Reportage and Creative Photography. Today Alexander finds time to be a lead artist for large Russian corporation, writing music, creating art in oil and watercolours. Most of his works were available only to very close circle of friends and Moscow art lovers. Fortunately from 2013 his works are available for sale in Moscow and London at this moment.
