artist and creative director, was born in Genoa and lives and works in Milan. He is one of the founders of Ultrapop, a collective of artists that since 1995 has explored new territories in Italian artistic production, marking new directions. They use a language close to the aesthetics of comics, graphics and “popular” art, drawing inspiration from them and using a mix of languages where irony and visual clarity are often combined with social and political themes always treated with a disenchanted and never complacent vision. Precisely because of this transversal gaze, at the crossroads of art and communication, the movement has held personal and collective exhibitions in social centers, art galleries and museums of contemporary art, facing with the same intact desecrating spirit institutional spaces and neighborhood bars. . Ultrapop has been the protagonist of numerous events including Ultrapop Ultracolor (Museum of Contemporary Art of Villa Croce, Genoa, 2001-2002), Sui Generis (Pac, Milan, 2000), Kids are us (Civic Gallery of Contemporary Art of Trento, 2003), MM3 (Porta Romana Museums, Milan, 2005). After the dissolution of the Curreri Group since 2007, he has continued his research individually, always addressing issues related to the icons of popular culture. From mass psychosis (Germination) to religious icons, to daily violence (Redrum) to the worship of God money (Moneytheism). Among the main exhibitions the solo show with Antonio Sorrentino Redrum (Little Italy Art Gallery, Milan, 2008) Blood, sweat and gunpowder (Pop Up, Milan, 2013) and the collective Dadaumpop (BMB Gallery, Mumbai, Calcutta, New Delhi, 2011, Galleria Rinascimento Contemporaneo, Genoa, 2011), Milan to drink (Galleria Ghizzoni, Milan, 2011), Subterranean Modern (Don Gallery, Milan, 2012), REW & FFWD Back and forth, fast (Fabbrica Eos, Milano, 2014) , Moneytheism (Zaion Gallery, Milan, 2017)
